Darien Little League 12U All-Stars Win State Championship, Advance to Metro Regionals!

 

Darien Little League 12U All-Stars

Darien Public Schools extends our biggest congratulations to Darien Little League 12U All-Stars on their historic season! The 12U All-Stars spent the month of July on a winning streak, defeating Fairfield American in the District 1 Championship and Southington in the Section 1 Championship. These back-to-back successes led them to the State Championship game versus Waterford yesterday, where they came out on top with a decisive 7-4 victory! This is the first Darien All-Stars team to make it to the State Final Four since 1964 and the first State Championship win in program history, two massive accomplishments that our community is proud to celebrate. 

With their State Championship win, the Darien 12U All-Stars will represent Connecticut at the Metro Regional, vying for a chance to compete in the Little League World Series later in August in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Please join us in cheering on this incredible team, their coaches, and their families as they continue this amazing journey and take on New Jersey in the first round of the Metro Regional on Saturday, August 8, at 7:00 PM in Bristol, Connecticut. The game can be livestreamed on ESPN+ or followed via play-by-play on the GameChanger app. More information can be found at this link.

The Darien 12U All-Stars are coached by John Butler, Joe Paccione, and Fran Sutter, and made up of the power-packed roster of Alexander Abelson, Charlie MacLane, Chase Sutter, Hugh Butler, Jack Houlihan, John Huntington, Joseph Paccione, Logan Masi, Luca Hidaka, Rex Paquette, Roscoe Hurty, and Wells Johnson. Best of luck in the Metro Regional, Darien!

Summer office hours, which begin Monday, June 22 and remain in effect through Friday, August 14, 2025.  The schedule for Central Services will be as follows:


Monday through Thursday -- 7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Friday --  7:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
